Hello!! My name is Harmonie (yes, that’s the real name that my mama gave me).  I am a professional photographer in the Bronx and NYC for the last 13 years.  I previously worked for Big Apple Portraits as the studio manager and lead photographer before launching kyoS Photography. I absolutely LOVE my job and helping you and your family create new memories.

I was born and bred in Wisconsin before moving to New York 16 years ago.  I have a lot of Wisconsin pride despite moving away and always have fun stories about living there. I currently live in the Bronx with my 3 cats-Sinatra, Shakira, and Bane.

Capturing memories is so incredibly important to me because, in November of 2021, I suddenly lost my partner of 15 years, Freddy.  I cherish every single photo I have of him and it truly feels like there are nowhere near enough.  I accumulated more than 400 photos of him and us over the years before I even received the 100+ photos from his phone or his family and friends.  I am so grateful to have all of those memories and even more that I have them displayed around my home.

Tomorrow is never promised to anyone. I, personally, have chosen to take the time I have with my loved ones and preserve those moments. While being a photographer is my job, it is also my passion and it is rarer to now find me not taking a picture of someone or something, and that passion is so much stronger now. I truly hope that you allow me the opportunity to capture the magic that is your family so you have keepsakes for a lifetime and beyond.
